Refund policy

Semi-Intensive or Intensive Course

You have the right to cancel anytime within 14 days of making the application. However, there are exclusions to this so please read the exclusions below The 14-day cooling off is waived with the following:

1) If any lessons or tests have been taken within the 14 days of making payment

2) If any payments have been made to the driving instructor for the booking of driving lessons.

We are unable to offer a refund if the 14 days have passed/waived and a driving instructor is in place to complete your lessons or test dates have been confirmed. If you cancel once a driving instructor is in place you may forfeit all the course fee or at least some of it. For example, if you have completed more than 50% of your lessons, no refunds can be offered under any circumstance. However, if you have completed less than 50% of your lessons, we can offer you a refund of the remaining driving instructor fee or provide a new instructor for the remaining hours. Our deposit fee is non-refundable under any circumstances once the service has been provided as we accrue costs in doing so, we can only refund you for unused driving lessons at the agreement of the instructor. Once a refund request has been authorised, this will be processed immediately and you will receive this within 3-5 working days.

Standard Driving Lessons

Due to a number of no shows and late cancellations, we have an upfront payment policy for lessons. 

Lesson terms and conditions:  

On booking a driving lesson, please be aware of the following terms.  

•If cancelling a driving lesson you must give 48 hours notice to give your instructor time to arrange someone else to have your slot. 

•Full payment will be taken if 48 hours notice is not given when cancelling a lesson.  

•If you wish to cancel your lesson you must speak to the instructor that you have your lesson booked with. 

•Lessons can be cancelled by leaving a voicemail message, via phone call or via text message. Please do not message via Facebook/Instagram messenger or via email as this may be missed.  

•Payment for lessons must be made at least 48hours before lesson date/time. If payment is not received by then, your payment slot will be offered to another person and your allocation for future lessons may be lost. 

•If you miss 2 or more sessions in one block you will lose your regular slot and be moved to when there is next availability, to prioritise regular bookings. 

•Lesson times are an estimate due to factors outside of the instructors control such as roadworks, traffic jams, overrunning driving tests etc. although we endeavour to be on time, in the event we are late the time will be added onto the end of the lesson. 

Gift Cards

At Drive Far Ltd, we take pride in ensuring our customers are satisfied with their experience. However, please note the following terms regarding our gift cards:

  1. Non-refundable: All gift card purchases are final and non-refundable. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
  2. Non-returnable: Gift cards cannot be returned once purchased.
  3. Lost or stolen cards: Please treat gift cards like cash. Lost, stolen, or damaged cards will not be replaced.
  4. Validity: Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and must be redeemed within this period.
  5. Redemption: Gift cards can be used for any of our driving lessons or services. To redeem, present the gift card at the time of booking.
